Stefan Gruenwald is the owner of Clubland Records and also a very famous German DJ since 1988. He started to produce in 1996 and his biggest success was in 1997 the worldwide famous dance project “SM-Trax” with the club smash “Got The Different remixes have been done for Scooter, 2 Eivissa, D.O.N.S., DJ Bobo, Barcode Brothers and many more. In 2002 the progressive trance project “Nightwatchers” has been produced with the famous German actor Marek Erhardt and Bob Cruise who has been also involved in the SM-Trax Project. In 2006 the first real house project under the name of “Oliver Backens & Stefan Gruenwald” has been released on Clubland Records and after that his first solo single „Stefan Gruenwald – Anytime Is Housetime“ which is more the progressive electro style that Stefan loves followed by two follow-up singles of “Oliver Backens & Stefan Gruenwald” called “La Magia” in 2008 and “Hold On (Tighter To Love) in 2009. Jerry Ropero’s career starts in Belgium where he produced together with his cousin N.B.G. better know as “Natural Born Grooves” which have had the smash hits “Forerunner” and “Groovebird” which are still classic dance tracks till now. His biggest success he achieved with the project „Avant Garde“ and its club smash „Get Down“ followed by amazing remixes for Negrocan, Robbie Rivera, Daxriders, SWEN G*, Steve’N King till the newest ones like for Danzel, D.O.N.S. feat. Kadoc, Tom Novy, Ian Carey, Syke’N’Sugarstarr, Bel Amour and many more to follow. Other projects with some friends of him like „Jerry Ropero & Denis The Menace – Coracao” (Subliminal US), “Clubworxx & Jerry Ropero feat. Mr. Mike – Put Your Hands Up In The Air (Nervous US)” have been really successful and also his solo project „Jerry Ropero – The Storm“ which has been licensed to nearly every country around the world causes really a “storm” in the clubs with amazing vocals by Cozi who is also the female vocalist for David Guetta’s “Baby When The Lights Go Down”. All of this gives him the nomination in the year 2007 for the Beatport “Best House Artist Of The Year”. In 2009 Jerry Ropero teamed up with Tom Novy and they both recored a project called “Tom & Jerry” where the first single “Touch Me” went straight to No.1 in the US Beatport Downlaod Charts. The new single “Don’t Lie” will be released by the end of April 2010 when “Tom & Jerry” will do their first live-gig together with singer Abigail Bailey at the biggest German Electronic Festival called “Mayday”. So Stefan & Jerry have both a big experience in producing and also playing as DJ’s together. Their first collaboration in 2008 has been a cover version of the old classic by “Baby D. – Let Me Be Your Fantasy” featuring the female vocals by Anna Maria and followed by the second single in 2009 which was a collaboration with former DSDS 2003 (Deutschland sucht den Superstar 2003) top 10 finalist “Daniel Lopes” who shows again his talented voice on the old “The Korgis” classic track “Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime”. At the end of 2009 they also did a remix for the famous track of Michael Jackson “Mind Is The Magic” followed in 2010 by a remix for the single “Try” of German Top Act “Schiller”. Now they did it again and the third single is a cover version of Yazoo's "Dont Go" ... this time they teamed up with the amazing voice of half-german half-morrocan singer Ela Wardi. This club smash will be released in the beginning of June 2010 through Clubland / Kontor Records wiith additional remixes of Falko Niestolik, Valero, Manuel Baccano and Merlin Milles.
